God’s Life-Giving Word of DiscipleshipSample
January 11
Introduction
Jesus heals the daughter of a Jewish official and a woman who had suffered for twelve years with severe bleeding. He restores sight to two blind men and drives out a demon from a man who could not talk. Jesus travels to towns and villages, preaching the Good News and healing people of every kind of disease.
Today’s Key Scripture: Matthew 9:36
As he saw the crowds, his heart was filled with pity for them, because they were worried and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

Lord Jesus, you are the Great Physician and Shepherd. Heal my wounds, both physical and spiritual, and be present with all who need your healing today. In your holy name, I pray. Amen.
