A Great Multitude

DAY 2 OF 3

You Were Created To Worship Christ.

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Genesis 1:27-28 declares, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” God created you in His image — you are not God. You were formed by God — who is the Creator of all things in Heaven and in Earth. We are His creation.

According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for “Image” is, ‘tselem’ (H6754) which means, “Likeness (of resemblance).” God fashioned and formed you out of His likeness. You were created to reflect and Glorify God. You were created to worship God.

Your gifts, talents and abilities were placed inside of you by God for His Pleasure and Delight, and through your submission and obedience, every gift and aspect of your life was created to give Christ Glory.

Colossians‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:” You were not created to replace God. You were created to give God Glory. Let the work of your hands praise Him. Let your gifts exalt Him. Let your heart magnify Him. Let every part of your life worship and magnify the King.

Action:

Surrender to God. Lay before Him in your  quiet devotion time. Pray and ask God to reveal the gifts, talents and abilities that He has given you to use to bless others.

Maybe you’ve already identified your gifts, choose to lay before Him and let God reveal new and hidden treasures that He’s placed in you. Surrender every aspect of your life and heart over to God.

About this Plan

A Great Multitude

Vance K. Jackson leads readers in this powerful devotional. When we stand before God’s throne, we will stand with a great multitude — which no man can number. All nations, all kindreds, all people, in every tongue from across every age will praise God — forever. Every generation from across every age will praise Jesus Christ — the Lamb of God. Let every aspect of your life praise God.
