DAY TWO: Love and Be Loved

Conforming to the image of Jesus means we have the opportunity to become better at loving and accepting love from others. The more we love, develop an others-focused attitude, and apply the wisdom of Jesus, the more our human potential is unleashed. Unleashing your human potential begins with dedicating your life to serving, laughing, and crying with those you love.

If we are going to be successful in helping others become extraordinary, then we need to be personally engaged with them and discover the root cause of anything hindering the maximization of purpose.

You can verbally affirm people with praises for a job well done, but you can also affirm them with a pat on the back, a warm handshake, and appropriate hugs. When we study the life of Jesus, we see how warm and affectionate He was in touching and being touched by those around Him. I believe one of the most important things Jesus did to unleash the vast potential in His disciples was to be informal and personal with them.

Jesus was open and real with them and disclosed to them the intimate things the Father spoke to Him in private. We need to walk as Jesus walked and invest in others as He invested in them.
