Hold Your PeaceSample
Ask For Wisdom.
Hold your peace and ask God for wisdom in every area of your life. Ask God for wisdom on how to lead your family, how to handle your finances, how to lead your organization, ask God for wisdom on how to serve, live and reflect God in every area of your life. Engage God and surrender to His Will and Way of doing things.
Ask God to lead you through the politics of your organization. Ask God to lead you and to guide your footsteps. David declared in Psalms 18:36 KJV “Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.” God led David and enlarged his footsteps and his platform. Listen to God. Trust Him and let God lead your heart. Let God lead and enlarge your platform. Let God guide your path. You may not have all the answers but choose to hold your peace and look to God for instruction. As you surrender to God, He will ensure that your feet will not slip. Don’t fear — trust God.
If you lack wisdom simply ask God. As you go through the process and navigate through the various seasons of life, He will guide you, mature you and strengthen you. Restraint shows maturity. Lack of restraint reveals an area that’s exposed and needs development. Let God lead your heart, thoughts and actions. Let God rule and dwell in your decision making process. Let God-guided restraint and self-control lead your pathway.
Set an example for others to follow. Hold your peace and let God fight your battle. This fight belongs to Him. Pattern yourself after His Word. Seek Him and let God guide your course. God is bigger, stronger, more powerful, more articulate and smarter than any situation that you face. Trust God. Hold on to Him. Crucify your flesh and surrender to Him. Choose to hold your peace and continue to trust God.
