Everyone. Everywhere. Part 2Sample
One Body, Many Parts
The body of Christ is made up of many parts. God created each of us with distinct gifts and unique paths to use those gifts for His glory. If we were all given the same gifts, the body would not function properly. Could you imagine a body with a bunch of arms and no legs? It would not be able to function properly, and therefore would not be able to fulfill its purpose.
When the members of the body are all using their God-given gifts, it brings unity to the body and brings glory to God. Furthermore, a body that is unified should suffer when one part of the body suffers and rejoice when one part rejoices.
Questions to Ask Yourself:
- Do you know your spiritual gifts? How do you use them to bless and serve others?
- Have you ever envied someone else’s gifts? How did that keep you from fulfilling your God-given purpose?
- Do you suffer when a brother or sister suffers? Are you able to rejoice with a brother or a sister when they rejoice?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, would you help me discover the unique gifts that you have given me so that I can use them to bring you honor and glory? I want to live a purpose-filled life that points others toward you. Would you bring me the utmost contentment for what you have assigned for my life and help me to stop comparing what others have been called to? Help me to be a faithful partaker of the body, and give me the passion to be one who promotes unity.
