The Magnificence Of Christ In The PsalmsSample
My Hiding Place
Dear Father, I am exceedingly grateful that I can always depend upon my Savior to be my Hiding Place. I praise Him that He has all the power and love to be the perfect Hiding Place for me and all others who are saved through His blood. I am so glad for Psalm 27:4-5, which describes the protection He is as we dwell in Him: “One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.” I rejoice greatly in what Paul declares to us in Colossians 3:3, “For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” I delight that part of “He Hideth My Soul,” by Fanny Crosby, further echoes these assurances about Christ’s power and love: (verse 1) “A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord, A wonderful Savior to me; He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock, Where rivers of pleasure I see.” (chorus) “He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock, That shadows a dry, thirsty land; He hideth my life with the depths of His love; And covers me there with His hand.” Please help us to forsake even the best of man’s “hiding places,” to devote ourselves to living under the full protection of the Hiding Place. In His victorious name I ask these things.

About this Plan
Each daily devotional has a different name or attribute of God from the Psalms that is ultimately fulfilled in Christ. You will read the Psalm with Christ's name in it, then worship Him and pray for His Lordship of your life based upon His name of the day. Hopefully, this will help you know Christ more and love Him more. All Scripture used is from the NIV Bible.
