When I cried out to God about Drenda’s and my situation, God showed me that everything that happens in His Kingdom is a result of a law. Now, I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I was smart enough to understand that if the Kingdom operates on the basis of laws, then I could learn those laws and apply them to my life.

I began to realize that every story in the Bible held keys that I needed to know in regard to how the Kingdom operated. I began to read every story in the Bible differently.

I started approaching everything I read with questions:

Why did that happen?

Why didn’t that happen?

What principles are revealed in this story?

How did that happen?

If the Kingdom of God really operated by laws, I knew I had to start asking the hard questions. “Why couldn’t Jesus heal the people in His hometown?” “Why did He heal that person I know, but not that person?” You need to be able to answer those questions, because the answer could save your life!

Too many people believe that God picks and chooses who He wants to heal, or gives people cancer to teach them a lesson. That’s not the case. God’s promises give us a promise of healing, restoration, financial increase, and so much more—not of just the ability to suffer through hardship or disaster. Perfect love offers solutions. 

Although Jesus had the power and the desire to heal people in Mark 6, he could not. Jesus said that the failure to heal was not a weakness on His end but was because the people did not have faith. 

FAITH is the key to unlocking the power of rest in your life! Faith makes the difference!
