Placing God FirstSample
We live in a day and age where millions of people wander the earth in search of a better livelihood and hope. The Bible recognizes this reality.
So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. (1 Corinthians 3:7-9)
Only God can make things grow; only God can make our work prosper. He wants us to be his "fellow-workers"; each achieving the part of the work he has assigned to us, using the gifts and qualities he has given us.
Reflect:
Our work is in vain if God is not at the head of all and if we do not place him at the center of our work. It is pointless to rise early and to work as late as possible unless we do it for God.
