When Tyre’s king refuses the gift of 20 cities, Solomon rebuilds them for Hebrew people. He builds a fortress in the wall of Jerusalem and sends ships to get gold from Ophir. He enacts Moses’ Law on Sabbaths and feasts and writes more proverbs: ‘A wise son heeds his father’s instruction.’
