Seek The Lord.
“Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:” Isaiah 55:6 KJV
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for, “Seek” is, ‘dāraš’ (H1875) which means, “to resort to, seek, seek with care, to investigate, inquire, require, to frequent (a place), to tread a place, to consult, to seek in prayer and worship.”
Seek Christ. Seek Him. Search His Word. His Word is His Heart. Seek the Lord while He may be found. Seek the Lord in every season. Seek Christ, our King, in every circumstance.
Isaiah 55:6 AMPC declares, “Seek, inquire for, and require the Lord while He may be found [claiming Him by necessity and by right]; call upon Him while He is near.”
Intentionally inquire upon the Wisdom of God. Search and seek His Wisdom. Draw near to His Heart. Draw near to His Word. Inquire of His Goodness. Seek His Counsel. Seek Him—for He is near.
The Counsel of the Lord will guide you in times of need. The Wisdom of the Lord will guide you in times of the storm. The New Living Translation expounds upon Isaiah 55:6 NLT in the following manner, “Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near.”
Seek Him. Investigate His Word. Seek His Word with care. Frequently consult with Christ. Continually seek Him in prayer and worship.
