When Jesus Christ came the first time, He came one way: in a manger. But when Jesus Christ comes back the second time, He’s coming on a white horse with an army behind Him to execute judgment against His enemies and to fulfill His promises to Israel. 

We call it the millennial reign of Christ, a one-thousand-year rule on earth to fulfill the destiny of man which had been proclaimed in the book of Genesis that man would rule. Since all men had failed in their rule, God became a man in the second person of the Trinity. When He comes back, He will fulfill that destiny when He ends the rule of Satan. He’ll bring about peace on the earth, where the lion will lay down with the lamb during His millennial kingdom.

This will be a serious, worldwide event, as Christ descends on Earth so that every eye will see Him, making His entrance, judging the nations and separating the sheep from the goats. 

So, you want to be ready for the Second Coming by responding to the first coming. Accept Him as your Savior and follow Him as your Lord, so that when He comes the second time, you are fully engaged as part of His army bringing peace to the earth.
