A Prayer for Wisdom for Anti-Trafficking Organizations

Dear Lord,

Your Word says if any of us lacks wisdom, we can ask you, who gives generously to all, and it will be given to us. (James 1:5) I pray that you would grant wisdom to the anti-trafficking organizations working on your behalf, including Abolition International and each of their shelter partners. Bring them continued clarity of vision in Jesus’ name. You invite us to call upon you. You promise to answer by revealing great and unsearchable things we do not know. (Jer. 33:3) Let them not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of their minds so they can discern your will. (Rom. 12:2)

You have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; you have not said to Jacob’s descendants, “Seek me in vain.” You speak the truth and declare what is right. Your Holy Spirit of truth will guide them into all truth. He will speak only what He hears from you. (John 16:13) I pray the faith of these organizations not rest on human wisdom, but on your power. (1 Cor. 2:5) In Jesus’ name, amen.
