Courageous Humility Pt. 1Sample
You likely already know this, in Isaiah, there is a special road the redeemed are to walk on. Different translations provide different names, but in Isaiah 35:8 there is a road described as the: Way of Holiness, Highway of Holiness, Holy Way, and Holy Road. Scripture says: It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways; fools will never walk there. Lions will not lurk along its course, nor any other ferocious beasts. There will be no other dangers. Only the redeemed will walk on it.
As we reflect on the Highway of Holiness for the Redeemed, I sense we need to ask ourselves some challenging questions. Have we ever really allowed Jesus to become our Rock, or just our Savior from death and desperation? Have we truly been walking along His paths, being led by His Spirit, the best we knew how, or have we really been walking along our own since asking Him into our lives? Have we recently been finding ourselves in miry sediment, perhaps because we’ve veered from His path for our lives, consciously or unconsciously? I believe if we have the courage to honestly ask and have these questions answered, God will give us great insight.
Prayer: Lord, this morning help us to be honest in our communion with You. Help us understand beyond all doubt and reason, YOU ARE THE ROCK on which our position and paths are to be placed. I pray we allow You to steady us and move with You along the path of righteousness and holiness. For every single man and woman following along in this study, empower them by Your Holy Spirit to be courageous in uncovering answers to the questions You are compelling us to ask. In Jeremiah 17:10, You say You search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve. Search us Lord, help us to be vulnerable with You, removing any facades we may have been hiding behind, any appearances of being where we really aren’t. You love us and You desire for us to have Your song placed within us. Prune the places that are not of You, and allow Your song to grow within our soul. Thank You Jesus for Your love and kindness! In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

About this Plan
Be strong. Be Alert. Be Courageous. These words are the premise of this 30 day study where you will uncover God's desire for you to call out to Him and trust He will hear. Not only hear, but set you on sure footing, a path He sets before you, for your sake and the sake of those around you. From there you will dig into Scripture around what it means to courageously step into God's presence, how to do so, and what you can expect as a result of going into His presence. Finally, you will be encouraged to step towards the healing Christ offers, both individually, and as the collective Bride of Christ. Each day you will be encouraged to ask questions, seek answers in God and His Word, and identify the step YOU sense the Holy Spirit compelling you to take. Courage accompanies ACTION, and Christ reveals to us where to move next, while the Holy Spirit empowers us to do so!
