All across our nation, and even in our own cities, we hear of despicable crimes against children. God's heart of compassion for kids is seen in this one little snapshot of Jesus with kids on His lap. We assume He was blessing them spiritually, but He may also have been laughing and carrying on with them on a less serious level; because they were kids. This is God's heart. Pray for children, that they may know the love of Jesus and the mercy of God.
