God With Usනියැදිය

Moses had seen incredible miracles and signs that God performed in Egypt:
- He saw the burning bush.
- He experienced the parting of the Red Sea.
- He tasted manna that rained down from heaven.
- He witnessed God provide water from a rock.
Despite everything he’d seen, Moses wasn’t content with just witnessing God’s works; he wanted to see God Himself, His very glory –Exodus 33:18-23
Like Moses, we might have seen God’s hand in our lives through answered prayers and provisions. But do we have that same desire to know God even more personally? Are we bold enough to say, “Lord, show me Your glory”?
God knew that Moses couldn’t handle the full magnitude of His glory, but He didn’t deny his request. Instead, He placed Moses in the cleft of a rock and covered him with His hand. Moses could only see a part of God’s glory — just as much as he could handle.
Our relationship with God doesn’t have to be limited to what we already know. We can go deeper, seeking more of Him. Just as Moses was drawn into a closer encounter, we too can invite God’s presence to fill us.
Story Time:
Growing up, my parents had a beautiful habit of praying together after we kids were asleep. Once, in the stillness of the night while deep in prayer, both of them heard what sounded like a robe gently fluttering as someone walked.
Initially, they thought that perhaps one of us had woken up to go to the washroom. As the sound continued, my mom got up to check on us. Finding us all fast asleep, she returned to prayer. Then my dad got up to check, curious and wondering what could be making the sound. He walked around the house but found nothing unusual.
Yet, the sound continued. Both of them were sure they were hearing the quiet, gentle presence of someone moving through the silence. That night, they sensed it might be the very presence of God, there in our home, a reminder that He was with us, listening to our prayers and watching over us as we slept.
You don’t have to be a Moses. You just need a heart that longs for Him. Jeremiah 29:13
