God's Redemption Story (Revelation)

DAY 38 OF 40

The Final Victory - Day 38

Pop culture has long painted heaven as quiet happiness, shiny gold gates, and chubby little angels sitting on clouds playing harps. But followers of Christ have a clear picture of what we can expect in the future with our holy God.

We won’t have any more crying or sadness or pain or even thirst. And while we’ve lived moments without those negatives, eternity with our God will be different. When we gave our hearts to Jesus here on earth, he began healing our hurting hearts. Revelation 21:5 says in heaven, he won’t be fixing what’s broken. He’s going to make everything new. Pain, sadness, tears, grief, fear, and loss won’t even exist because we’ll get a fresh start as God’s perfect creation. Thank you, Jesus!
