Recognizing What Activates You

It’s an invitation to pause and recognize the patterns that trigger those intense emotional responses.

But when we bring these moments to God, asking Him to search our hearts and reveal what lies beneath, we see beyond the surface reaction. Therefore, when you experience a surge of emotions, take a moment to stop and sit with it. Ask yourself what’s going on beneath the surface. What’s the story behind the feeling? As you bring these moments to God, you’ll uncover the roots of your activation, and in that understanding, you’ll find the space for grace.
