In the Beginning: How to Start the Year Strongනියැදිය

Day 1

Genesis 1:2 (AMP) "The earth was formless and void or a waste and emptiness, and darkness was upon the face of the deep [primeval ocean that covered the unformed earth]. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters."

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of creation, and He sustains our new creation identity. There is no glorious beginning without the Holy Spirit, and positive spiritual and mental shifts cannot occur without it. The newness we desire this year is only possible with the Holy Spirit. Let the Holy Spirit help you set goals and show you God's divine vision for the year.

Pray: Heavenly Father, I thank you for new beginnings. By your Spirit, help me come into alignment with your plans for my life this year. In the name of Jesus, open my eyes to see and ears to hear, and quicken my understanding. Show me your plans and help me think your thoughts as I set goals for the year. In Jesus's name. Amen.

Meditate by declaring the following slowly and intentionally for 10 minutes; then practice being still for 4 minutes listening for what God is saying:

The Spirit of God is upon me and within me to bring me into alignment with God’s plan for my life this year. I am manifesting my new creation identity.
