Strengthen Your Faith #6 the Heavenly GiftsSample
About the gifts
Paul describes the gifts of the Spirit as free gifts that God gives us to support and build the Church.
They are not obtained by merit but are a blessing that the Holy Spirit grants us so that each of us can do his part.
These gifts are intended to unite us as a community, allowing each to contribute to the common growth and expansion of faith.
Paul lists nine gifts, which we can group into three broad categories: gifts of Word, Works, and Knowledge.
The gifts of the Word include Prophecy, the Language of Wisdom and Science, and Tongues and their Interpretation; they help us communicate what God is revealing to us, orient believers in faith, and help us understand the divine will.
The gifts of Works include Faith, Healing, and Miracles, which manifest God's concrete action in our lives and help us experience his tangible power.
Finally, the gifts of Knowledge, such as the Discernment of Spirits and the Language of Science, help us recognize what comes from God and receive profound insights into the spiritual journey.
The heart of this plan is not to do a formal or theoretical study on these gifts but rather to encourage us to live in harmony with the Spirit, letting him surprise us with the gifts he wants to give us for the good of the community.
Life in the Spirit is made of openness and willingness to serve. We are called to receive these gifts with humility and use them to support those around us so that our faith becomes more concrete and lived out daily.

About this Plan
This plan aims to develop and live the fullness of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This awakening manifests through the powerful actions of the gifts (or charisms), which support and guide spiritual growth. Thanks to these gifts, we are called to a life renewed and enriched by the divine presence. This not only strengthens our personal faith but also positively impacts society, spreading values of love, peace, and unity.
