Joshua understood this when he declared, "But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord" (Joshua 24:15). This was a bold statement, a line drawn in the sand that would impact generations to come.

Overcoming negative family legacies requires intentionality and courage. It means making difficult choices, often going against ingrained patterns. But remember, you're not alone in this journey. God's grace empowers you to break free from destructive cycles and establish a new legacy of faith and freedom.

Today, consider what aspects of your family legacy you want to change. Ask God for the strength and wisdom to make different choices. Your decisions today can become the testimony of future generations.
