In Ephesians 3:19, Paul speaks about a “love that surpasses knowledge.”

Remember the significance of knowledge in the Bible?

In the Garden of Eden, knowledge is what the serpent tempted Adam and Eve with. This doesn’t mean God was forever hiding knowledge away from them. But God, in the perfect creation, designed humanity to live in relationship with Him — where knowledge was given over an eternity of walking with Him, not taken in a moment of pride.

I believe this to be the place we can find the wisdom of God, a wisdom that surpasses knowledge, that God gives to those who are willing to commit themselves to Him.

Commit yourself to the Lord in prayer today. Trust that, in His time, God will give you the wisdom you need to live for Him.
