Happily Ever After: And Everything BeforeSample
In a famous sermon in Scripture, Jesus uses an illustration about building a house to help us understand what it means to build our lives on the right thing. He says that those who build their homes on a strong foundation will stay standing no matter what storms come their way. The same is true for our faith! When we build our lives on the foundation of Jesus, we can trust that we’ll stay standing and find joy even in the biggest storms in life.
To help you remember this truth, work on memorizing this verse, Matthew 7:24, this week. Draw a picture to illustrate what the verse is teaching you. Then, write the Scripture underneath the picture. Put it up somewhere you’ll see it often as a visual to help you commit it to memory.
