From Rock Bottom to : Financial Stability: Wealth God's WaySample
Day 1: The Foundation of Wealth – Trusting God in Hard Places
The journey from rock bottom to financial stability is paved with trust in God, especially in hard places. It’s easy to trust God when everything is going well, but it’s in the difficult moments—when the bank account is overdrawn, the bills are piling up, and the debt seems insurmountable—that true faith is tested. The foundation of biblical wealth begins with an unwavering trust in God’s promises and His ability to provide.
Our testimony begins here, in a place of financial desperation. We had overdrawn bank accounts, bad credit, and mounting debt that seemed impossible to overcome. But in that place of despair, we made a decision to trust God fully. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us that when we trust God with all our heart and refuse to rely on our own understanding, He will direct our paths. This means allowing God to lead us out of financial despair and into a place of abundance by following His guidance rather than our limited logic.
Philippians 4:19 assures us that God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory. This is not just a promise of survival but a guarantee of sufficiency in every area of life. Matthew 6:33 instructs us to seek first the Kingdom of God, with the promise that all our needs will be met. As we placed our trust in God and prioritized His kingdom, He began to make a way where there seemed to be no way. This is the foundation of true wealth—trusting God to meet your needs, especially when the situation seems hopeless.
**Prayer:**
Lord, I choose to trust You in every situation, especially in the hard places. Help me to lean not on my own understanding but to follow Your guidance. I believe that You will meet all my needs according to Your riches in glory as I seek Your kingdom first. Amen.
