Day 6: Stewarding Finances

Scripture: Proverbs 3:9-10 (NKJV)

Honor the Lord with your possessions,

And with the firstfruits of all your increase;

So your barns will be filled with plenty,

And your vats will overflow with new wine.

Reflection: Honor God with your wealth. Reflect on how you can better manage your finances for His kingdom. God does not want your money. God wants your heart. Unfortunately, the devil has leveraged money as a way of drawing your heart and head away from God. Financial stewardship is not only about giving money to God, it starts with being a good manager of your personal finances. God will give to you once He trusts to give through you.

Prayer: Father, help me to be generous and wise with the financial resources You’ve entrusted to me. Thank you for blessing me with the provisions to bless others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
