Staying Connected to Jesusනියැදිය

The goal
‘This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be My disciples’ (John 15:8).
What is the purpose of your life? Jesus was clear about it for His own life. He came to earth to do His Father's will (John 6:38-40).
A gardener plants and tends his vines with the intention that they will bear much fruit. A good harvest is an honor and reward for the owner of the vineyard. This is how we honor the Father when Jesus' desire also becomes our desire and becomes visible in our lives. Various fruits are those qualities in your life through which others can see the goodness and greatness of God. You bring God joy when these fruits are growing in your life!
Bearing fruit is more than trying to be a good person. It shows Who gave you life and your desire to live as He intended you to. It shows others what the connection with Jesus means in your daily life. What thus becomes visible in your life is a credit to the Father who gave His Son for you. Fruit that makes others curious about God; fruit that makes God, the Vinedresser, happy!
God rejoices when your bond with Jesus becomes visible in your life. How do you value the joy that God has in you?
