"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light."
Into the Text
Sweet sister,
I know that, in the busyness of motherhood, it is easy to forget who we truly are. We each wear many hats: chauffeur, chef, cheerleader, nurse, mediator... the list goes on. But, your most profound identity lies not in these daily tasks but in whose you are.
Never forget that you are chosen by the King of all kings and set apart for a life of purpose. In the whirlwind of diapers and deadlines, homework and heart talks, know that you are a daughter of the Most High. Your worth is not tied to the performance of your parenting but is secured in Christ. You are beloved and handpicked by God.
As a royal priesthood, your home is your most important ministry, and your motherhood is a high calling. With each story read, each scraped knee kissed, and each prayer prayed at night, you are shining the love of Jesus. You are precious in His sight, invaluable and deeply loved. You were chosen for this incredible work.
Remember, the legacy you're building is not just in the things you do for your kids; it's in the whispered declarations that remind them that they are His. Embrace this noble calling. His light shines through you, illuminating the path for the next generation to follow.
You are invited to join God in this redemptive mission, shaping souls and steering hearts towards His love. Your identity is firmly rooted, not in the fleeting moments but in the eternal embrace of our Savior.
You are not just a mother. You are a carrier of His light, a beacon of His love to your family and beyond. Stand tall, sweet sister. Walk in humility and in the truth of whose you are—His.
Prayer
Dear Jesus, remind me daily that my true identity is found in You. Help me to wear my role of motherhood with the grace and strength that comes from being Your chosen daughter. May my life reflect Your love to my children.
