Run to Him!Sample
Believe God is with you always
How often do we sing worship songs that say, "I'm seeking you, Lord," or we ourselves say, "I can't feel God, even though I'm sincerely seeking Him."
Actually, it's interesting because you don't have to search for God's presence
to know that He is there.
How many times has He promised to be there for you? Countless times!
Here are just four verses—out of many—that prove just that:
"...And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20 NIV)
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea." (Psalm 46:1-2 NIV)
"Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast." (Psalm 139:7-10 NIV)
"God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5 NIV)
He has promised that He will always be with, so you can trust that He is right here with you now.
We have faith to trust in it, even when we don't feel God right now (see Hebrews 11:1 NIV). And if you do feel Him, that's an added gift! But whether you can sense Him right now or not, He is definitely with you!
Think about it: People who constantly have to seek God believe in a God who is running away from them. People who trust that God is here with us believe in a God who has looked for and found them.
"For the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost." (Luke 19:10 NIV)
Stop searching and let yourself be found today!
You are a miracle!
