Writing with authority.

Scripture:

For I’m not speaking as someone who is self-appointed, but I speak by the authority of the Father himself who sent me, and who instructed me what to say. John 12:49 TPT

Reflection:

Jesus only said what He heard the Father say. This is good news! The Father will instruct us on what to say as we partner with Him in writing our books.

As you show up each day, full of His Spirit, sitting in His presence, the words that you write (whether non-fiction or fiction) will be full of life and truth. When you write from your union with Him, you will write with authority.

Activation:

Commit to showing up every day and spend time with the Father to listen to what He has to say. Schedule that time on your calendar. Dedicate that time to the Lord and see how He moves as you faithfully steward His words.

Make this your declaration:

I am speaking with the authority of the Father who instructs me on what to say.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You that You are in me, and I am in You. I commit to hearing your heart every day and stewarding the words that you instruct me to say. Thank you for partnering with me in writing my book.

In Jesus's name, amen.
