Heaven, How Amazing Is It? Part 1 of "Heaven and Hell"නියැදිය

Can we actually say things about heaven?
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. (Colossians 3:1)
What will heaven be like? It seems that many Christians are afraid to ask this question, much less dare to answer it. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:9: "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor has entered into the heart of man, that is what God has prepared for those who love him". It does not benefit us to try to fathom secrets beyond our understanding. Many believers are content to know that we will see what it is like when we get there.
It is debatable whether 1 Corinthians 2:9 refers to what awaits us in heaven. It is more likely that it is referring to the plan of redemption.
Moreover, the Bible calls us to set our hearts on the things above (Colossians 3:1). "Set your minds on the things above, and not on earthly things" (Colossians 3:2). There, above, is Christ, and He is seated at the right hand of God - in other words, He reigns. Those who focus on the things that are above have the right perspective on the things that are below.
If you believe in Christ, eternal glory awaits you. Surely you want to delve into what that will be like? In this series, we will explore what God has told us about our eternal destiny.
