Understanding the Subject of the CovenantSample
PROMISES OF THE COVENANT (2)
The covenant position for a child of God is to have his own things. You are not walking in your covenant destiny until you are an employer of labour somewhere. God has said that people shall serve you; that is referring to an employer. That is leadership and it is part of your destiny!
You must own things as a covenant carrier. A government car is not the same as your car. Government apartments or staff quarters are not your place. Don’t let the devil rob you with ignorance. The Bible says in Isaiah 65:21, “And they shall build houses and inhabit them…”. Until you separate between what is yours and the government’s, you are not going to prosper correctly. So, you must have your own things.
No matter what kind of house you have, being a landlord is better than being a tenant in a penthouse. The Bible says, “Every man went unto his own house” (John 7:53). One of the definitions of a man is that he has his own place. The lower level of being a man is to have a place given or allocated to you by your office, something like an official quarters. It is lower than owning a rented apartment that you pay for, which is the second level. The highest level is the one you can call your house. This is the one you have full control over. So, you must aspire and refuse to rest until you have your personal things.
Prayer: I reject the destiny of a slave; I will own my things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
