Five Steps to Study the BibleSample
Step #5 - Reflect and Apply
More than just memorizing or grasping Scripture, to truly experience the impact of studying God's Word, you must reflect on how it can prompt personal transformation and devise an actionable plan to implement these changes.
After completing your Bible study, consider asking yourself:
- What’s the significance of this passage? What does it highlight about Jesus?
- What are the timeless truths?
- Are there any conflicts between these Scriptures and my own life? If so, what are they?
- Based on what I’ve learned, what does God want me to do?
- How can I make progress toward that objective?
The statistics mentioned on Day 1 are just a glimpse of the countless benefits of reading and meditating on the Bible. Delving into Scripture not only impacts our relationship with Jesus but also positively influences various aspects of our lives. Let us be encouraged to prioritize time with God's Word and allow its transformative power to shape us from within.
