The Psalms were largely written and compiled during David's kingship. They provide insight into David's character and the worship life of the nation of Israel. We will cover 3 well known Psalms as part of this overview.
After reading the passage use these questions as the basis for your discussion.
1. What stood out for you / what was interesting and why? (The Holy Spirit’s prompting)
2. What was the passage about / the main message / big idea? (The Word of God)
3. What should we do / how can we apply this message? (Faith in Action)

About this Plan
This plan is designed for families (our girls were under 10 when we used it); it can also be used for personal devotion. Each day uses the same 3 questions to explore the text. The plan provides a comprehensive "bird's eye view" of the Old Testament; the aim is to understand the first phase of God's salvation plan through the Covenants (relationships) which He established with His people.
