How to know God?

If you want to know the Father, you have to look at the Son.

Jesus says:

"He who has seen Me has seen the Father. (John 14:9)

I'm the way, the truth, and the life; No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)

Jesus is God in flesh and blood. He is the door to know God the Father.

He who has the Son has life, and he who does not have the Son does not have life" (1 Jn 5:12).

What life?

Eternal life. (John 17:3)

Jesus is the Way that leads to the Truth. He leads you to life, the life that He gives in abundance, and you have that life in the Son. That life is eternal life; to know God as Father and to know his Son.

So Jesus is the answer to the question: how can you know God?

Jesus is the perfect reflection of the Father. Therefore, it is important that we take his words and learn to live like him. Open the Bible every day and see who Jesus is and how he lived. Study his character, attributes, how he walked, how he spoke, and how he handled certain situations.

So, eternal life, as mentioned in the Bible, does not only mean being with God forever when we die and pass away later. It also means that now, in this life here on earth, we can get to know God as he really is in a very personal and intimate way. And that we can walk and approach the world from that personal relationship.

Eternal life is knowing God and the Son of Jesus whom he sent.
