Great Is Your Faithfulness

Who is God that He knows my going out and my coming in? Who is God that He should care about the climate of my heart? Who is God that He should care about my weakness and give me strength to prevail? He is a faithful God. His love endures forever.

Who is this God who calls me into fellowship with Him through His son Jesus Christ? He is a faithful God who loves us even to the cross. His love reaches to the heavens, His faithfulness to the skies.

No one is like you, O Lord my God. For you are mighty, and your faithfulness is part of who you are. Lord, you spread your wings over me, and there I find refuge. You are my strength and my shield. I will fear nothing, for you are faithful.

Human love is frail, yet, Lord, your love is unfailing. I can rely on your faithfulness. I know that you never change; you are my strong tower. O God, my father, everything I have ever needed, you have provided. I know I can trust in you.

Lord, you are true to your Word – your faithful ‘yes’ resounds in Christ. Your glory trumpets the Amen. I can look up to the stars that you created and know that not a single promise you have made has failed. You are faithful even when I am not. You are faithful to me, even when I have fallen short. For you are a God of love, you are a steadfast and faithful God, and I lift my song of thanks to the highest heaven, to the distant stars.

Great is Your faithfulness.
