Perfect love has the strength to break down walls and allow you to find the freedom Jesus bought for you. It is this kind of love that will help you lift yourself out of your darkest moments. It is this kind of love that will allow you to surrender control of your life and cast your fears on the one who gives everlasting freedom. The perfect love discussed in this scripture can only be obtained through a mature relationship with Christ. Only then can a perfect love be established. Psalm 23 says "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil." This level of trust comes from a mature relationship with your savior, Jesus Christ.
