Just Do It
Better than having been blessed, is being blessed on a daily, hourly basis by listening to God’s word and acting on it. It is present tense; regular, habitual, predictable action. Hear it, do it. Read it, do it. On the contrary, we want to analyse it and understand it better; we want to talk about past successes and failures. And while there is a place for that, hearing it and doing it is even better.
Prayer: Dear Lord, forgive me for the times I fail to put love into action. Too often my faith does not have the ‘feet’ it needs to do what you want me to do. Help me to hear from you today and act on what you say. I’m waiting …. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
