Goodnight’s Rest

Thank You, Lord, for allowing me to see another day. Thank You for keeping me safe in your arms all day. Thank You for keeping me in perfect peace when certain situations arise. I'm grateful for making a way out of no way for me daily. I am amazed by Your love, grace, and favor towards me. Lord, I must confess that I've had a restless night. Every night, while I lay in bed, I toss and turn, wondering about what I should do next. I am struggling with anxiety and depression, and I am finding it hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I know that I am not alone in my struggles, but it can feel that way at times. I ask for your guidance and support as I navigate this difficult time in my life.

I humbly ask that you ease my burden of anxiety and depression. Please help me find peace and happiness in my life once again. Remind me that I am loved and valued, and that I have a purpose in this world. Help me to see the beauty and goodness in myself and those around me. Please surround me with people who will love and support me through this difficult time. As I settle in for a good night's sleep, I place all of my burdens, worries, doubts, issues, and circumstances at your feet. Quiet my soul and mind, Lord, so that Your presence may fill me.

Tonight, I welcome Your presence. Tonight, I choose Your comfort. Tonight, I choose Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Tonight, I am safe under your protection. According to your word, I affirm that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Lord, I rest tonight knowing You are working everything out that concerns me, in Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
