We Were Made to Be CourageousSample
Reflection:
Do you have difficulties breaking away from earthly sorrows that hold you back from becoming the courageous person God has called you to be? I know I do. If you do too, don’t be afraid to consult your creator. He specifically tells you to be the opposite when you go to Him. If He wants you to be bold when you talk to Him, the Creator of everything down to the fiber of the universe, then I’m sure He wants you to carry yourself in a similar manner towards His creation. Start your day with Him, have a coffee talk about the day ahead and then go boldly into it. Don’t get hung up on the hiccups and word salads, we’ve all got them and we all stumble. Give it to God and watch as the magic happens over time.
A prayer:
Heavenly Father, when I wrestle with my confidence, remind me that I am fighting not against flesh and blood, but an evil entity you have already declared victory over. Remind me that I am called to be courageous here on earth, and bold when I approach You. I pray that You continue to strengthen the areas I need strengthened as I confide my weaknesses in You. I pray that You continue to reveal who I am called to be as I continue to trust in You. I pray that wherever I am called, it will point back to Your glory. I trust that you are softening my rough edges and teaching me how to dance in all areas of life in a way that glorifies you.
In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
