Lastly, acknowledge the area of your pain that has caused you to become numb. Do not run away from it, but face it. Ask God to heal those areas thoroughly. There are sorrows in this life that can only be healed by the hand of God Himself. Like a doctor, He alone knows how to diagnose you and provide the correct treatment. God knows how the pain started and how long you have been nursing the wound. He knows how deep the wound is, and He knows exactly why it is numb right now.

Do not be afraid to be vulnerable in His presence, but show Him where it hurts and ask for help. The Spirit of God is a Comforter and He is our Helper. He has His arms open just for you. Let Him show you how He can bring wholeness to that which seems to be broken. Let Him in today.
