What are some ways that you show love to another person? We can all probably think of some romantic comedies where the main character picks up their date to a high school dance with flowers and a box of chocolates. They may even go so far as to open the car door and hold their date’s hand as they cross a street. Of course, not all love is romantic love. With our friends, sometimes we show our love for them by making a nice meal, answering the hundreds of texts in our text thread, or even just taking the time to compliment them in a specific way.

There are hundreds of things we can say and do, both big and small, that show another person just how much we care about them. But what about when it comes to God? Sadly, we can’t just send God a nice bouquet of flowers or offer to take Him on a nice lunch date. But that’s not really what He asks us to do! God doesn’t hide the way He wants us to show Him our love. It’s mentioned over and over in the Bible. We show our love to God when we follow His commands.
