## Pray Almighty God, I sometimes get distracted by the challenges in my life. Help me now to focus only on You. How do we know that Nehemiah had a well-thought-out plan? Before responding to the king, what does Nehemiah do and why is this important? What was the point of Nehemiah’s night operations (v.11-16)? Who is the real authority and power behind the Jerusalem renovation? In what ways is God shaping my life? ## Respond Lord, you are the master architect. Create in me a new heart that will shape how I respond to my family, my unit and my community. Amen.
