A Child's Guide To: God Is Bigger Than Bad Days

DAY 5 OF 6

Bigger Than Every Scary Thing

Don’t be afraid. I am with you. Don’t tremble with fear. I am your God. I will make you strong, as I protect you with my arm and give you victories.
Isaiah 41:10 (CEV)

What’s the biggest, scariest thing you can think of? Now think about God. How much bigger is he? Imagine this: he can hold the whole world in his hand!

Would he hear you if you asked for help? of course! He is the best listener there ever was! Would he care if you needed him? Of course! He cares even more than your parents! And that’s a lot!

When we say God is big, we don’t just mean in size. It also means his power is big. He is more powerful than any scary thing around us. So when you are feeling scared, you can always ask God to help you. The big and powerful God will come right beside you and stomp out those scary things so you can feel safe.

Life can be fun knowing God is taking care of you so you don’t have to be afraid.

HERO TRAINING

Arm wrestle your friends. (No cheating!) And then arm wrestle your mom, dad, or another adult. You can see how much stronger the adults are, right? God is much stronger than that!

GOD'S WONDERFUL WORLD

Alligator moms carry their babies in their mouth sometimes. That’s a safe place!
