Qualifying for God's AnointingSample

Qualifying for God's Anointing

DAY 17 OF 31

GOD ANOINTS THE CALLING

There is no calling without an anointing. The anointing is God’s identification of the calling. The anointing is the ability of God moving through a man to do the work He called him to do. So, if you are called to an office, you will carry the anointing for it. If you are without the anointing for it, it means either you are not called to that office or you are not yet standing in that office. Anointing signifies being called to an office, and it opens the supernatural and divine factors there to a man.

Many people are called but they do not go through the process that will birth the full potential of their calling. It takes time to study the Bible. The Bible says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Tim. 2:15).” The word “study” means to be diligently earnest. God will supply the calling, but you will supply the diligence. Be diligent with your calling.

When God calls you to be a prophet, you are already anointed to see things in the spirit. So, if the Bible is not your standard of judgment, you will hear demons and not God. Likewise, if you are called to be a teacher and you are devoting more time to reading newspapers than the Bible, very soon you won’t be teaching from the Bible but from the newspapers. If you are a singer, get busy. God gave you the gift, you should add diligence to it.

You cannot afford to be spiritually lazy and empty, thinking that the pastor alone is the one that must be serious with the word to succeed in such a hostile environment the world is to the believers. You have to be loaded. For example, if you are a banker, somebody can bring you a dud cheque that he has rubbed with the devil’s anointing for you to pay. How do you overcome that without carrying the power of God inside you?

PRAYER: Father, help me to be diligent in the place of my calling in Jesus’ name. Amen!
