Encounter

Many of us have had encounters with God's love that have changed our perceptions of him, and in turn, how we respond to him. When Holy Spirit comes into the room, He has the power to fill our lungs or ignite a fire deep within us. That experience changes everything. God's love changes us forever. We begin to think and act differently as we become more aware of the truth that we are sons and daughters of a Father that gave everything to be with us.

When we accept the Father into our hearts, we accept the commitment to never stop searching for His presence. “We won’t stop ‘til we encounter You.”

I will never forget the Encounter that set my life in motion. I was attending youth camp when I was 14. One night I raised my hands in worship and immediately felt God’s presence. I won’t ever forget that feeling as God came and touched my life in such a powerful way.

Romans 8:38-39 says, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
