Keep Your Heart Open to God

Today, at this moment, how easy is it for you to keep your heart open to God? Do you feel like you need to protect it from Him?

How do you need His help to keep it wide open?

We heard Holy Spirit say, “Sometimes my being with you—even more than my talking to you—is what you need most.” We do need that. We need Him most.

So will you join us in doing that today?

For us, this is what being with Him might look like:

Pause. Breathe deep. Let our minds and hearts relax. Close our eyes. Meditate on God’s face, his posture toward us, his love for us, his promises, his goodness. We hope to focus on Him—trying to do nothing else but that for a good stretch of time.
