Day 6: To the Dark

Here, take my hand. Now rise. I am with you. Your I Am. Maker. Redeemer. Father and friend. Trust me as I lead you. Follow me, even in the dark. Along this narrow, hard path. The ground is uneven and rocky, but I’ve got you and I will not let you go. You belong to me and no one can snatch you from my hand. You are the reason for my song. Even here. Where you feel unsure. Where your hope is failing and your doubts crowd in. This is where I sing over you. I delight in you. I love you. See, there’s enough light here, just follow me. Do you see me? Now let strength rise. Let hope be renewed. I am your King. Your shield. Your anchor and firm foundation. Look to me and you will find your way. Remain in me and you will overcome. My holy one. Anointed and loved. Stand here for a moment. And breathe. My peace is on you. Breathe in and know me. In the dark. Trust me. Feel my love for you. In this uncertain place, I Am. Believe my word, child. Trust me, precious one. Now sing with me.
