At His TableSample
The Invitation
There’s nothing quite like getting an invitation. Whether it be to a birthday party, a wedding ceremony, or a simple dinner celebration. There's something significant in an invite; it stands as a humble gesture that you are needed, known, and loved.
Conversely, the absence of an invitation can be painful. It’s the loudest kind of silence, leaving you with a type of emptiness that words fail to articulate because emptiness is very much a heavy thing. It carries with it connotations of being overlooked, excluded, and sometimes rejected.
Yet that is the beauty of Jesus’ invitation. It is for everyone, everywhere. In the Gospels, we see Him eating with the outcasts, the forgotten, and the poor. He fed the hungry, healed the sick, and freed the oppressed. His grace knew no bounds, and His love no limits. He called people to come.
That truth still stands today. At His table, all are welcome. This table is for everyone regardless of age, stage, nation, or tongue. It is one that readily extends, where an extra chair is always prepared in advance for the one who humbly desires to join.
There is no sin too big, no gap too large. Jesus just wants you to come with all you have, just as you are. All are welcome because He died for all and rose for all. Jesus is creating space at the table and saying, “Come to Me.”
Today, would you choose to come to Jesus? No matter how your past or present stands, there is One who is calling you to Himself. Accept His invitation.

About this Plan
At His table, all are welcome. In this three-day devotional, we explore the significance of Christ’s invitation to us to be seated with Him at His table. Because He made space, we can know Him and be known by Him.
