Ramadan: Prayer Guide | Releasing the Light of Christ to the Muslim WorldSample
Dreams of the Man in White
Time and again over the years, God has reached Muslims not through words or deeds but through dreams. The nature of it captivates their attention.
Many times, those dreams center around Jesus appearing as John describes him in Revelation 1. People don’t always understand who they’ve seen, but in personal experience, they are always marked by the encounter. It may have been days, weeks, months, or years since the dream, but if you ask them about it, they can still vividly remember the eyes, voice, and emotion evoked when they saw Him.
When the Bible is paired with their dream, and they can see the exact description of who they’ve seen in scripture, it often sparks curiosity, wonder, and a desire to learn more. By these means, Muslims have come to know Christ and become Christians. One of the things often prayed for during Ramadan is more “enlightenment” to deepen their Islamic faith. As believers in Christ, let us pray for an entirely different sort of enlightenment for them.
Prayer
Lord, I pray that You will encounter Muslims in dreams tonight. I ask that many would encounter the Man with eyes like flames of fire and hair as white as snow. Let there be a revelation that this is the real Jesus, the One who is fully God and fully man. You are so much more than “one of the prophets.” I pray that many would be gripped by dreams like this and seek to know You who has appeared to them.
