DAY 3 OF 3

Joshua 1:8-10 (NLT) "Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord, your God is with you wherever you go.”

Reflection:

Moses was dead. And it was time for Aaron to lead God’s people. It is one thing to follow a great leader. And it is another thing to carry the responsibility of leadership. God knew that Aaron would feel the weight of his position, so God offered the necessary encouragement. Do not be afraid, be strong and courageous.

What or who are you responsible for leading? Remember, you are not leading alone. When God says to be strong and courageous to you like He did to Joshua, it is an empowering declaration. Believe in the power of the spoken Word. Rest in the assurance of God’s promises. You are not alone. With Christ, every battle is victory, and winning any battle begins with the mind. Set your mind on the Truth and allow your heart to rest in God’s unfailing love to give you hope and a peaceful future.

Response:

Remember the past victories as you face new challenges. Expect more wins and positive outcomes. Resist the temptation not to be hopeful because of past disappointment.

Prayer:

Father God, I choose to rest in your love and live courageously. Help me to reject fear and embrace your promises of love. I will fill my heart with your Word as I think about it daily. I surrender all anxious thoughts to you now in the name of Jesus. Amen.
