Spirit Breakout: The Impact of Revival

DAY 2 OF 5

Reconciliation: The Act of Restoring Harmony or Friendship

Life has a way of causing distance in our relationships if we are not careful. It is easy to get so consumed with our day-to-day responsibilities that we realize we have not even connected with family and friends. Even with the best of intentions, we often fall short. This is true even in our relationship with God. We can become so consumed that we don’t talk with Him like we once did or desire to. We find that our hours are allotted to every area but reading His Word. Our minds are so consumed by our plans that there is no room for His voice to impart His plans. Before we know it, we don’t feel or hear Him like we once did. Revival comes to reconnect us with our Father. It comes to dust off the lines of communication. It comes to bring awareness of the areas where we may have fallen short and gives us insight on how to correct it. God desires to have a close relationship with each of us. He desires to call us friend. Friendships should not one sided and they require care, time, and consideration. Revival allows for a rebirthing of those commitments that revitalize our relationship.

Prayer:

God, I thank you for desiring a relationship with me. I thank you for the grace that you show me. I pray that my relationship with you be rebirthed. I pray that I receive a new fervor in those areas where I have fallen short. Your Word says that if I seek first your kingdom and your righteousness, everything else well be added to me. I pray that you strengthen my faith to believe your Word and to keep you as my number one priority. I pray that the winds of revival blow away anything that has taken your place in my life. I desire know you intimately and for others to see the evidence of you in my life. Amen

About this Plan

Spirit Breakout: The Impact of Revival

When the wind of revival flows there is a refreshing that washes over the earth. It brings with it a renewal of our thinking, our actions, and our heart's posture. In a day and age where there seems to be a flood of negativity and infiltration of the enemy's plans, revival reminds us that God was, is, and always will be in control.
